SPEECH

Julius Ancer (1917-2005) was a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was all those things only because of his amazing acts of courage and survival during the Holocaust, when many of his family, friends, and townsmen weren’t as fortunate. Julius’ experiences in the ghettos and concentration camps, followed by his return to Poland and eventual emigration to the United States, are chronicled in the book he self-published and the speech he gave to church youth groups and other organizations throughout Minnesota. This site is dedicated to him, so that his story can continue to inspire and teach, because that’s exactly what he would have wanted. Thank you for visiting.
